A bag of gold and a promise lead Romualdo and Manín to follow in the footsteps of King Alfonso II the Chaste to Santiago de Compostela. On their journey they will discover the main towns of all who mark the Camino Primitivo: Grao, Salas, Tineo, Pola de Allande, Grandas de Salime, Fonsgrada, Lugo, Samos and Santiago.

It is an initiatory journey for Manín. Our young protagonist, thanks to the wise advice of the old man, will discover not only the history of the Primitive Way, but also important lessons for his life, in the purest Lazarillo style.
